Weekly Practice Schedule
MONDAY Time: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Location: John Lewis HS
Groups: Juniors (born 2015-2016) & Intermediates/Seniors (born 2011-2014)
Focus: Advanced technique and drilling.

Location: John Lewis HS
Group: Future Champions (born 2017-2020) One dedicated practice session per week
Focus: Fundamentals and fun of wrestling basics.

WEDNESDAY Time: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Location: John Lewis HS
Groups: Juniors (born 2015-2016) & Intermediates/Seniors (born 2011-2014)
Focus: Core technique, drilling, and Conditioning.

Location: Hayfield HS
Group: NVWF TOURNAMENT REGISTERED ATHLETES ONLY
Focus: Competition preparation, Core technique, drilling, and conditioning.

**Open Tournaments and VA/USA Wrestling Kids States**
For our more experienced wrestlers, there will be chances to compete in local and regional open tournaments, including the VA/USA Wrestling Kids States Qualifiers and Kids State Tournament. If you're interested, please talk with Coach Tomas.

To promote the education and training of student athletes in the sport of wrestling through physical and mental fitness.
OPEN TO ALL BOYS AND GIRLS - AGES 5-15
MEBERSHIP
An annual USA Wrestling Athlete Membership is required for all wrestlers to join the Gunston Jr. Wrestling Club. You can buy the membership at the USA Wrestling Membership website. Please be sure to affiliate with the Gunston Wrestling Club.
Choose the membership that's right for you:
Limited Folkstyle Membership ($18): Best for wrestlers who will only compete during the winter season, including the Northern Virginia Wrestling Federation (NVWF) and the VA/USA Wrestling Kids State Series.
Full Annual Membership ($50): This is the best choice if your wrestler plans to train and compete year-round, including in Freestyle/Greco tournaments during the spring and summer.
